The heart of PrismaGear SpA’s innovation lies in our Research and Development laboratories, where we employ state-of-the-art digital textile machinery and ultra-low-latency industrial optical scanning systems. We use precision molecular inkjet printers capable of embedding geometric micro-patterns directly into the fabric fibres, without compromising their softness or breathability. In addition, our computing servers for processing Augmented Reality (AR) assets use optimised cloud architectures that minimise the rendering time of 3D animations on users’ smartphones.

At PrismaGear SpA, we believe that the future of technology must be inherently sustainable. Our production is based on the principles of the circular economy: we use exclusively 100% certified organic cotton and yarns derived from recycled ocean plastic. However, our greatest environmental contribution is the introduction of the concept of “Digital Fast Fashion”. Instead of encouraging consumers to continually purchase new physical garments, our platform allows them to update and customise the style of their clothing indefinitely simply by downloading new “skins” and augmented reality graphics through the app. This drastically reduces the environmental impact associated with textile overproduction, water consumption and CO₂ emissions.
